- This is not a video production class so I won't go into the elements of production. This covers certain ways to gather video for your projects
- Download from Camera directly
- After shooting, connect with cord or WiFi
- The example I'm using is the Nikon D7100 which has a USB connection
- For Mac I use Image Capture and save the file in the project folder. This way you can bypass Photos

- For Windows, you can follow this quick tutorial
- Smart Phones
- Generally I record the video and then when viewing I click the share button and select email software and then send it to my email. Then I just download it from my email on the computer. Videos are often quite large so you can upload it to Youtube or Google Drive
- You can also try tethering and select USB as your phone connect.
- Download from a web page or Youtube
- For Youtube videos I use the 4K Video Downloader. Make sure you install it on the Desktop if you are using the School computers

- Free Stock Video sites
- Paid stock video sites (You can usually download a free sample or watermarked video. With watermarks you can replace the footage with a paid version if the client approves)
