- For initial setup read the Recommended Procedure
- Use Photoshop/Illustrator/Video as much or as little as you want
- Don't forget details like the browser title, copywrite info, and SEO (search engine optimization – h tags, img alt attributes and html text )
- Must contain an external style sheet that controls all style elements of the site. (Font attributes, tag styles, bg images or div sizes)
- You will all be given a personal website on my hosting account (called a sub-domain)
- Login information will be given soon
- Files will needed to be uploaded prior to the due date
- Please read the file submission procedure
- Comps (digital designs) in D2l in flattened jpg or pdf format due by end of class Thursday Nov 21
in the Personal website folder
- These should be Portfolio ready. Many designers have website designs in their portfolio in this format:
- Rough version due before class Tues Dec 3
- Final Revision due before class Thursday Dec 12
*Responsive versions are not required, but will add points to your grade
Criteria:
Following directions - 20pts (file naming, File size, file management, timeliness)
Design Process - 40pts
Presentation (Appearance, critiques, revision) - 40pts
