- First we will create a registration form
- Open generic_template_form.php and save it as register.php (you will have to overwrite an existing file that is already completed. You can change the name of this file if you want it for reference)
- Select the "Submit" button and open "Server Behaviors" panel. Click the "+" button and add an Insert Record Behavior:
- Then use the following values:
- Click the "Submit" button again and add a "Check New Username" server behavior. This insures that the new username is unique
- Fill in using these values:
- Finally we need to validate the form
- Click the "Submit" button again. From the "Behaviors" (not server behavior) panel add a validate form behavior
- Select all fields to make them required
- Select the username field and choose email to require and email format
- Click the "Submit" button again. From the "Behaviors" (not server behavior) panel add a validate form behavior
- Now we create a login page
- Open generic_templateLogin.php and save it as login.php
- Select the "Submit" button and choose User Authentication=> Log IN User from the Servers Behavior panel
- Fill in these values
- Validate all fields
- Now we create an admin form to add values to the traveler's journal.
- Open admin_template_tj.php and save as admin_update_tj.php
- Use the Bindings Panel to add a Sessions variable
- Type in MM_Username
- Select the "author" hidden field then "bind" the sessions variable
- Select the "Submit" button and then go to the Server Behaviors panel and choose Insert Record
- You should fill out these values
- Next restrict access to the page
- And choose these values:
Note* this part is extremely buggy...Your browser remembers session variables. You may need to restart. - Go ahead and the test the page and fill out the form values
