Why not use text blocks in Photoshop rather than Illustrator?
Photoshop is a raster program! Even the type... which acts like vector...it's really a simulator

Photoshop does have four options to clear the edges with anti-aliasing...but all are raster based:
Sharp:
Crisp:
Strong:
Smooth:
You may want to see the images alone in a browser window to see the subtle differences
Of course you could turn Anti-alias off:
