- Chapter 7, Classroom in a book pages 260 - 285
- Watch:
- Watch the following videos:
Name morphing
- Create an animated morph that transitions from your first name to your last. Be creative!
- Can be as long or as short as you want
- Grading will be based on clean transitions (no crumpled letters effect)
- Use multiple layers in the timeline
- Watch the following video for ideas and techniques
- Tweening and keyframing (This is for demonstration only...you are not required to do this for the assignment)
-
- Create an animated scene with a foreground character (you can use the one from the last assignment) and a background of your choice (you can use the character from the class exercise if you want)
- For background ideas I found a random tutorial on Youtube...check the link and explore similar videos if you want
- Animate the background to showcase your character...for example the sun rising or setting or leaves falling from a tree...be creative!
- This is meant to be a simple exercise so don't go crazy. I'm more concerned about the design work than the animation at this point
- Techniques:
- shape tweens
- frame by frame animations (onion skin)
- Gradients (for shading and highlighting)
- Can be .swf or html 5...your choice. Please upload all files in a compressed (zip) folder (ask me if you don't know how)
- Html, Swf, fla
