Assignment 3 - Animated scene:

• Read:
  • Chapter 8, Classroom in a book pages 266 - 275
• Watch:
  • Working with Vector Brushes
  • Working with the timeline
  • Working with Width tool
  • Importing images
• For the pen tool try experimenting with these images:
  • Pen tool tutorial
    • Alternate image
• Create an animated scene with a foreground character (you can use the one from the last assignment) and a background of your choice (you can use the character from the class exercise if you want)
• For background ideas I found a random tutorial on Youtube...check the link and explore similar videos if you want
  • Background
• Animate the background to showcase your character...for example the sun rising or setting or leaves falling from a tree...be creative!
• This is meant to be a simple exercise so don't go crazy. I'm more concerned about the design work than the animation at this point
• Techniques:
  • shape tweens
  • frame by frame animations (onion skin)
  • Gradients (for shading and highlighting)
• Can be .swf or html 5...your choice. Please upload all files in a compressed (zip) folder (ask me if you don't know how)
