I grew into my design life through print production work, and I loved it. Those days are done, though. With the ongoing decline of the print industry and ever increasing web participation levels, the writing is on the browser window.
I have finally chosen to embrace this transition, but I am not abandoning print yet. Despite the depreciating value of ink on paper, there are still opportunities for my clients to take advantage of in a well rounded campaign.
I have dabbled with a couple of web pages prior to getting serious about web design recently. Unfortunately the results were never up to my personal design standards. I was not able to grasp the web design tools like a paintbrush...
Until now.
Don’t get me wrong, I have a great deal of experience yet to gain. However, I have been able to extract functioning sites that accomplish my design goals, and I have only been doing this for a few months. I am excited to see what I can design in the future.
